VidantaTrack: Ultra-Low Power GPS Tracking Tag
Battery-optimized GPS tracker for indoor/outdoor tracking of high-value assets in large-scale hotel complexes.
A physical GPS tracker optimized to the extreme at the battery level, designed for indoor and outdoor tracking of high-value assets in large-scale hotel complexes.
Tech Stack:
PCB Design, Altium Designer, GPS, Ultra-Low Power, Battery Optimization
For enormous hospitality complexes (like Vidanta Hotels), maintaining control over scattered mobile assets (luggage carts, shuttle vehicles) is a logistical black hole. Commercial trackers fail because they require constant charging. The tags needed to be compact, precise, and fundamentally, operate for years on a single battery.
Hardware designed under a strict "Power-First" philosophy. Using Altium, the PCB was designed to eliminate any parasitic energy leakage. The GPS module is subjugated to an ultra-low-power microcontroller that only "wakes" the radio when it detects physical movement via accelerometers, leveraging highly efficient Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMICs).
The ROI:
Invisible Logistics:
Operations directors visualize their complete inventory on a real-time map, eradicating asset theft and loss.
Zero Additional Maintenance:
By eliminating the need for recurring charging cycles, the resort raises its operational standards without burdening its maintenance team with pointless tasks.
Losing physical assets is losing liquid money. Tracking your operation shouldn't create logistical headaches. We build custom low-power GPS trackers that give you total control of your assets for years without changing a single battery.
