Raw video is extremely heavy and difficult for AI models to "read" in real time. VisionVault was designed to transform live RTSP camera streams into a lightweight flow of "analysis-ready" images, making video information as easy to process as a simple temperature sensor.
Using FFMPEG and multi-threading in Python, the service ingests live feeds, captures frames at specific intervals, and stores them in Minio (S3-compatible storage). Immediately afterward, it publishes "frame ready" events via MQTT, signaling cloud AI Agents to begin their visual analysis.
