The Problem: Companies with physical operations (logistics, manufacturing, corporate) suffer from severe technological fragmentation. They juggle 10 different systems: GPS tracking, CCTV, access control, energy monitoring. This creates information silos, operational fatigue, and makes an "absolute vision" of real-time operations impossible.
The Solution: Sensando.io is the central nervous system of physical operations. The platform delegates heavy lifting to a squad of "Virtual Workers" (AI Agents):
π Ruti (Logistics & Fleet): Assigns missions, dispatches, monitors routes, tracks vehicle telemetry in real time.
ποΈ Veo (Computer Vision & CCTV): Analyzes video feeds 24/7, detects anomalies, armed individuals, suspicious behavior, generates proactive alerts.
β‘ Senit (Infrastructure & Energy): Virtual engineer monitoring electrical consumption, solar production, cold room temperatures, and network health.
πͺ Paso (Intelligent Access Control): Manages entries/exits with infinite memory.
Conversational Interface: Managers communicate with their Agents via WhatsApp: "How are we doing today?" Ruti responds: "The cargo truck arrives at destination; should unload in 1 hour based on current traffic." Users delegate, AI executes, humans supervise.
Tech Stack: Event-Driven Architecture with 10+ microservices. Polyglot Persistence: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Qdrant (Vector DB for AI memory). Vue.js 3, Pinia, Socket.io for real-time telemetry streaming.
What I Learned: The biggest challenge was designing an Event-Driven ecosystem capable of ingesting thousands of telemetry pings per second and feeding them as "context" to AI models without latency. The future of IoT is not dashboards with charts β it's autonomous systems that interpret physical data and execute resolution actions.
