Developed for the Texas Instruments MSP430 architecture, the firmware manages high-speed sampling of voltage and current phases. It uses a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) to simultaneously orchestrate: high-precision metrological calculations, the display's visual interface, and RF/Ethernet communications. Its greatest innovation is the implementation of disaggregation logic (NILM) to identify the "energy signatures" of specific machines within the three-phase signal.
