Description: A mission-critical web platform to modernize, secure, and streamline financial and tax collection operations for Municipal Governments in Mexico.

The Problem: Nearly 90% of a municipality's own revenue comes from property tax and real estate transactions. Yet municipal fiscal management is often critical and vulnerable: high dependence on cash, severe bottlenecks at service windows, lost transactions, and imbalances in daily cash closing. Excel-based information silos create citizen privacy risks and expose the municipality to audit penalties.

The Solution: I designed Ayuntasoft as a comprehensive system that digitizes the treasury, securing every peso.

High-Speed POS: Streamlines transaction payments by 500%, recording each operation with mathematical precision for perfect daily cash closings.
Incorruptible Traceability: Audit trail of every operation and user, guaranteeing total transparency.
Integrated Electronic Invoicing (SAT): Automates tax invoice issuance and expense control with real-time visibility.
Data Governance & Security: Eliminates Excel. Citizen data stored on secure servers with RBAC.
Dynamic Rules Engine: Adapts annually to any municipality's Revenue Law.

What I Learned: Building government financial software taught me to design with security, concurrency, and traceability as the highest priority. When handling a city's main revenue source, the margin for error is zero.
